In May 2011 work began to convert a rather dilapidated open barn into a brewery.
Fortunately, the barn is opposite our current premises, so it has been great to see progress and get involved at every stage. We are eternally grateful to the estate owners and their superb build team for sharing our vision for how the brewery should be. Every aspect of the building has been carefully planned and finished to the highest quality. We are absolutely delighted to announce that The ‘Pole Barn’ is now complete and is indeed the most fantastic barn conversion you’ll ever see! The vaulted ceilings provide a wonderful feeling of space. The minstrels gallery is the perfect stage to look down on our brand new purpose built 6bbl brewing system.
It’s no secret that we are proud of our surrounding environment too. Our brewery is set in a quiet and beautiful wooded valley, so it’s truly an inspiring place in which to be, and make beer!
